• Saqlain Mushtaq is a Pakistani cricketer known for pioneering the "doosra", which he employed to great effect during his career.
 
  • Saqlain was selected as Wisden Cricketer of the Year for 2000.
 
  • A statistical analysis conducted by Wisden in 2003 revealed Saqlain as the all-time greatest ODI spinner and sixth greatest of all ODI bowlers.
 
  • Saqlain played 49 test matches and 169 One Day Internationals (ODIs) for Pakistan, between 1995 and 2004
 
  • He took 208 Test and 288 ODIs wickets and also scored a Test Match century, against New Zealand, in March 2001.

During these tours Saqlain has got to work with some of the brightest talents.
 
  • Saqlain has shown he is as adept at coaching as he is at playing. His tireless efforts for Pakistan, Sussex and Surrey are infamous. He approaches his coaching with the same level of positive commitment and professionalism.
 
  • Saqlain is a UK qualified Level 3 coach and has currently setup his coaching academy which is based in Leicestershire,UK.
